What's your go-to outfit in unpredictable weather?

This is mine.
I'm always really happy in my light navy woolen sweater set (it has a cardy to match).  It is great for this dodgy spring weather
I don't get my china brooches out as often as I should because I'm always a bit worried about them dropping and breaking, not that that has ever actually happened.
Three is better than one don't you think?  One can look a bit lost on my ample boobage!
These earrings are actually made of tiny shells which makes them nice and light. Maybe they were a souvenir from a seaside place.

  1. Navy really suits you! Looking hot (on a chilly day)! And yes - 3 brooches ARE always better than one :)

  2. I'm not surprised you are happy it's a wonderful colour on you. You have just reminded me I forgot to put a brooch on my cardigan this morning BAH.

  3. I like that lacy detail on it, and I've always liked those china brooches. Everyone laughed at me for being old ladyish but I don't care!

  4. Georgeous dress! In this kind of weather, I like to wear a coton dress with a cute sweater and I must not forget a vintage umbrella!!!

  8. I always wear your gorgeous Heyday 1940s swing trousers if the weathers dodgy- check them out on me while on a trip to Agatha Christie's summer house in Devon on tomorrow's blog! I love that you can wear them with flats, boots or wedges; long sleeves, short sleeves, wtap or tie tops AND they always get compliments and cannot be found on the high street! Am thinking of investing in the navy with red buttons, especially as you've made navy look sooo cool in this outfit post!

  10. I just adore the deep, inky hue of that beautiful dress. I can certainly see why it's your go-to frock in all kinds of weather and situations. I have a black late 50s wiggle dress (it's fitted, but not skin tight by any means) that I just adore and which I would have to say is one of my main go-to pieces on all but the toastiest days of summer.

Wishing you a gorgeous, relaxing weekend,
    ♥ Jessica
